TERMS AND CONDITIONS – ARKIV & COMPANY

These terms and conditions apply when you visit arkivco.com or purchase products from ARKIV & COMPANY AB. By using the website or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

Mandatory consumer protection law always takes precedence over these terms.

The online store is technically provided through Shopify. All purchases are made directly between the customer and ARKIV & COMPANY AB.

  1. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

We aim to describe and represent our products as accurately as possible. However, colours, surface finishes and materials may appear slightly different depending on the display, lighting conditions, materials and manufacturing process.

Minor variations may occur between individual products and do not necessarily constitute a defect.

We reserve the right to change product information and discontinue a product without prior notice.

  1. ORDERS AND AGREEMENT

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address you provided. Please check that the information in the confirmation is correct and contact us as soon as possible if anything is incorrect.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before delivery if the product is out of stock, payment cannot be completed or there is an obvious error in the price or product information. If payment has already been made, the amount will be refunded.

  1. PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices displayed to customers in Sweden are stated in Swedish kronor and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Shipping costs are shown at checkout before the order is completed. Available payment methods are also shown at checkout. Some payment methods may be subject to the payment provider’s own terms.

The price stated in the order confirmation is the price that applies to the order, except in the case of obvious typographical or pricing errors.

  1. DELIVERY

Products in stock are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery times are approximate and may be affected by circumstances beyond our control.

ARKIV & COMPANY AB is responsible for the product during transport until you have received it.

  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

As a consumer, you normally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. In addition, we offer a voluntary return period of 30 days from the date you receive the product.

You can notify us that you wish to withdraw from or return a purchase using the “Cancel or Request a Return” link in the website footer or by contacting us at info@arkivco.com.

You may inspect the product in the same way as you would in a physical store. If the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its characteristics and function, we may deduct an amount corresponding to any reduction in value.

  1. COMPLAINTS REGARDING FAULTY PRODUCTS

If a product is faulty, you have the right to make a complaint in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Purchases Act.

Contact us at info@arkivco.com and provide your order number and a description of the fault. Please include photographs if they help us assess the issue.

A complaint made within two months of discovering the fault is always considered to have been made within a reasonable time.

  1. TRANSPORT DAMAGE

Please inspect the parcel and product when you receive them. If the parcel or product has been damaged during transport, contact us as soon as possible and include photographs of the damage and packaging.

Failure to report transport damage immediately does not affect your statutory rights.

  1. USE OF THE WEBSITE

The website may only be used for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the website’s operation, circumvent its security, distribute malicious software or use the website in a way that harms ARKIV & COMPANY AB or other users.

We may restrict access to the website in cases of misuse or unlawful use.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Texts, photographs, images, graphics, logos, product designs and other material on the website belong to ARKIV & COMPANY AB or are used with permission.

The material may not be copied, reproduced, modified, manufactured or used commercially without prior written permission from ARKIV & COMPANY AB.

Selected product designs from ARKIV & COMPANY are protected by registered design rights within the European Union.

  1. EXTERNAL SERVICES AND LINKS

The website may contain features or links provided by third parties, such as payment, shipping or social media services. These services may be subject to the respective provider’s own terms and privacy policies.

  1. PERSONAL DATA

Information about how we collect, use and protect personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

  1. LIABILITY AND SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

We aim to keep the website available and accurate but cannot guarantee that it will always be free from temporary interruptions or technical errors.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms when necessary. The current version will always be published on this page.

The terms that applied when the order was placed will apply to that order.

  1. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These terms and purchases made through arkivco.com are governed by Swedish law.

If a problem arises, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it together.

If we are unable to reach an agreement, consumers may refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) or to a competent court.
